Our symbol is the flower that springs in sand: Calystegia Soldanella. It is called “ephemeral” because its lifetime is bigger as seed than it is as flower. Dried by the sun, the seeds are blown by the wind and buried in the upper lays of sand. They may remain up to three years in this condition and they sprout when the rain comes.
In a similar manner, in Sandplay, content related to conflicts or traumas, hidden in the unconscious, spring in sand producing scenes that express, through new forms and movements, psychological states of the person who creates these scenes.
The colors chosen for the symbol were orange and green. Orange is associated to energy and vitality, while green is related to well-being, health, peacefulness, and hope.
